Open source projects I am participating in
Nimbus IRC
"Nimbus IRC" is the working title of a new IRC client I am writing. This is actually version 4 in a series of fully working IRC clients I've written for my own use. See my blog post of
History of IRC apps I've made.
Nimbus IRC Alpha 1 was recently released, and source code will follow.
Nimbus IRC web siteOpenSimulator
I've participated in the early development of
OpenSimulator. I am still working on some stuff on it when I have time, for example the
fibre/microthreading implementation.
PimpBNC
Back in 2001-2003 or so I wrote a pretty cool IRC bouncer in Perl called
PimpBNC and released it as open source.
PimpSearch
Back in 2001-2003 I wrote a LAN scanner/indexer for Linux/BSD. Its purpose was to scan a LAN-party for SMB and FTP files and provide a web based search interface. I also made a stylish windows client to bypass Windows Explorer problems with SMB protocol. The project was released as open source, but has since been removed from the internets.
Others
I have written a lot of fancy libraries/apps that may end up as open source/freeware release. At least that was the intention with some of them... :)
Nimbus.Module - Extremely easy plugin load/scheduling in .Net
Nimbus.Display - Complete digital signage system in use on transit advertisement in Norway
Nimbus.RemoteAgent - Modular client agent for maintaining large networks of client computers that don't have people interacting with them.
Nimbus.AutoUpdate - Library and executable auto update utility used to deploy installation packages to client computers. Can be used stand-alone or included in an application.
Nimbus.Init - A Unix "init"-like clone, ensures that apps keep running.
